Conceptual Engineering & Design Services
Feasibility Studies
PT. Depriwangga Engineering undertakes feasibility studies to establish the feasibility of projects with meet the technical scope, operational flexibility and economic viability. At PT. Depriwangga Engineering, we recognize the importance of such studies and possess the required multi-discipline domain expertise to undertake such activities for root projects as well as the revamping of existing plants.
Basic Engineering
The Basic Engineering services offered by PT. Depriwangga Engineering consist of core documentation of projects, including process flow diagrams, heat & mass balances, P&ID, control & operational philosophy, basic equipment sizing, equipment specifications and conceptual equipment layout, etc. PT. Depriwangga Engineering is well equipped with a large range of the latest industry standard design automation software tools for engineering calculations, simulation, modeling and computer aided designing.
Front-End Engineering & Design (FEED)

PT. Depriwangga Engineering provides solutions to diverse industries, including oil and gas, power, and mining to manage their internal business drivers, using the expertise gained from providing front-end engineering and design (FEED) services. PT. Depriwangga Engineering has provided FEED services for several projects, and design packages. Fluor has extensive experience preparing lump sum bid packages and has many reference packages to facilitate completion of work in an expeditious timeframe.

Front-end engineering and design is defined as the work required to produce process and engineering documentation of sufficient quality and depth to adequately define the project requirements for detailed engineering, procurement and construction of facilities and to support a ±10 percent project cost estimate. This distinct project phase is typically used to:

  • Develop the engineering design packages that can be used to bid a lump sum EPC scope and / or provide documents for the detailed engineering phase.
  • Prepare cost estimates for scope definition and for EPC project
  • Provide hazard operation and hazard identification studies
Detailed Engineering Design

The detailed design phase results in all documentation required to procure equipment and materials, to (sub)-contract the construction work and to operate and maintain the facilities. The detailed design package may include final PFD’s and P&ID’s.

1.Process Engineering

PT. Depriwangga Engineering’s process engineering group undertakes the complete detailed engineering of process plants based on FEED package. The various services covered include:• Process simulation• Heat and material balance calculations• Materials of construction diagrams• Hydraulic analysis, line sizing and relief valve sizing• Design of process equipment• Development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and equipment data sheets :

2. Instrumentation & Controls Engineering

PT. Depriwangga Engineering’s Instrumentation & Control systems engineering group executes detailed engineering activities for all types of instrumentation at Oil & Gas Industries, but not limited in Mining Industries.The major elements of this service include instrument markups on P&IDs, preparation of specification datasheets, development of Field Instrument/JB/Panel location plans, wiring and loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, PLC/DCS I/O assignment, DCS configuration etc. and the creation/import of instrument indexes, flow sensors, control valves and thermo well sizing calculations. 3. Electrical Engineering

PT. Depriwangga Engineering’s electrical engineering carries out power systems studies using ETAP software. The team also undertakes 3D modeling of trays, lighting fixtures and other electrical equipment. The various services covered include:• Electrical load analysis and design of system architecture• Power distribution system design• Motor control center and sub-station design• Protective relay coordination• Lighting design

4. Mechanical Engineering

PT. Depriwangga Engineering’s mechanical engineering group designs various static and dynamic equipment using internationally accepted design codes and software. The various services covered include:

  • Design of static and rotating equipment such as pumps, vessels, tanks and heat exchangers, reactors, columns and agitators
  • Heat exchanger setting plans

5. Plant Design & Piping Engineering

PT. Depriwangga Engineering’s piping engineering group carries out an entire range of activities, stress analysis, conceptual planning and studies, 3D modeling, Isometrics, pipe supports, interference checks, as well as the creation of design reviews and reports. The various services covered include:

  • Complete plant layout services, including equipment arrangement, plot plan development and conceptual layout
  • 2D and 3D equipment and piping modeling

6. Civil Structural Engineering

7. Project Management Consultancy

Project planning and management form the basic foundation of all EPC projects. PT. Depriwangga Engineering’s vast project management team is well equipped with some of the latest project management tools and information systems to perform project management, scheduling, monitoring and cost control etc. The execution team is fully equipped to synchronize the activities of design, engineering, procurement, inspection & expediting, store management, construction, pre-commissioning & commissioning by means of an integrated system.

PT. Depriwangga Engineering has deployed some of the best tools for project scheduling and planning with an on-line monitoring & reporting system that tracks and corrects slippages in schedules and resources over a period of time.
